With his decades of success piloting both stock cars and sports cars, Chad McCumbee has taken his motorsports expertise to the next level through the ownership of Chad McCumbee Racing (CMR) and McCumbee McAleer Racing (MMR) with co-owner, Stevan McAleer. Both teams set the bar for success in both racing disciplines and continue to reach new heights year after year.
Chad McCumbee launched his Late Model program in 2009 and had visions set from day one. His goal was to help racers much like himself reach their goals through grassroots Late Model racing. The fleet of cars in the CMR stable utilizes Marlowe Racing Chassis and Robert Elliott Racing Engines. Chad and crew build and prepare the race cars in their coastal location at Supply, NC.
Based in Supply, North Carolina, McCumbee McAleer Racing (MMR) was formed in 2014 by one of the most competitive driver pairings in North America with racers Chad McCumbee and Stevan McAleer. McCumbee's stock car experience combined with McAleer's sports car expertise has already demonstrated to be a championship and race winning combination.
