McCumbee Starts 2010 With Fast Track Racing
Still Searching for Sponsors

(Harrisburg, NC 2/23/10)  Chad McCumbee and Andy Hillenburg united for the first race of 2010 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.  This is the first time McCumbee had run for Fast Track Racing since his breakout ARCA Series win with the team at Nashville Superspeedway in 2007.  Unfortunately the debut ended with an ignition failure that relegated McCumbee to a 33rd place finish.

"We worked really hard all weekend at Daytona and rebounded from quite a few problems in practice.  Having to qualify in was a big hurdle but everyone stepped up and we made it in solidly. I wish we could have made the entire race but things happen," stated McCumbee.  "With a crew of three guys and a very skinny budget I'm really pleased how we were able to qualify. I think we turned a few heads."

McCumbee and Fast Track plan on going to the next event at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 6th but still need some help to get there.  "We're going to Atlanta, but we still haven't figured out if we can race yet.  It's just a matter of getting some funding to get this thing around the racetrack. I've got faith something will come along," claims McCumbee.
